May 21-----Spring Trip to Schlitterbahn!!!

7:45am-----Roll call on bus

8:00am-----Depart

10:00am-----Arrive at Schlitterbahn - New Braunfels

1:00pm-----Check in with your chaperone

4:00pm-----Meet with chaperone

4:30pm-----Roll call on bus and depart

6:30pm-----Arrive in Smithville

 

Schlitterbahn Dress Code:

Girls - Tankini swimsuit, covers the entire midriff, front and back! One piece swimsuits are recommended. Bikini style swimwear is unacceptable and may only be work with a shirt over it at all times!!!

Boys - Swim trunks or shorts.

Shirt and shorts must be worn upon arrival to school and on the bus. Shorts should not be shorter than mid-thigh.

If you have any questions about the dress code, please ask a director BEFORE the trip!

 

Other items to bring:

  • Swimwear
  • Shorts and shirt to wear over swimsuit upon arrival to school, on the bus, and entering and exiting the park
  • Water shoes or flip flops
  • Towel
  • Sunscreen
  • Visor, cap, or hat
  • Watch---make sure someone in your group has a watch so you are not late and so you don't have bus duty when we return to Smithville!
  • Extra money, only $10 is provided; lockers are $9 with $2 refunded
  • Cooler---coolers may be on the bus and in the park. No GLASS containers!! Coolers will be checked by chaperones and park security!!

 

If students are planning to bring electronics (mp3, iPod, cell phones, etc), please understand that the buses will not be secure while we are in the park! It is also not safe to have them out at the water park. All of your personal belongings are your responsibility!!! Anything lost, stolen, or broken will not be replaced by the band or the school.

Always stay in groups of 3 or more!! This is for the safety of the students. Students who get lost or seperated from their group are to find their chaperone immediately!

Students are expected to display appropriate behavior on the bus:

  • No loud noises (talking, singing, yelling, music, etc)
  • Stay seated at all times
  • Clean up after yourself
