The funds that
were raised by cookbook sales are being used to update the nursery and
the kitchen.
Nursery Update - A new feeding chair, toy and book storage have been purchased. Repair and painting of walls and furniture has started. New pictures on the walls, age appropriate books and videos are being selected. New curtains will be purchased and installed. Work is on hold until plaster is repaired.
Kitchen Update - Paint has been purchased and painting has started. A portable ice maker has been purchased. New curtains will be installed when painting is finished. A little set-back when we learned the water heater has to be relocated, but work continues.
Thanks to everyone who has purchased a cookbook! And we do still have a few left.
The China Cabinet is finished - white with yellow
interior. The green is the tape which has been removed now!
Cookbooks Are ALMOST ALL GONE!
The Church cookbook "A Taste of Heaven" includes over 200 recipes from our church members and friends. Priced at only $10.
Cookbooks are available Sundays in the FPC Library and the Northex and at the Smithville Public Library!
Orders can be placed by completing the Cookbook Order Form. If you want to have cookbooks mailed to you or a friend, there is a $2.00 postage and handling fee per book. Yes, it can get messy while the remodel is going on
